For the past several years, former Comptroller General David Walker has been traveling the country, trying to warn of the looming problems from the mushrooming federal deficit. He was even the star of a critically acclaimed documentary film on the subject, “I-O-U-S-A” that was recently televised on C-N-N. Now, Walker, who is head of a New York non-profit trying to muster public support for a fix of the deficit problem, has returned to Washington to rally CONGRESSIONAL support for the idea.
