Monday we brought you Defense Secretary Gates’s news conference outlining big changes to the FY2010 budget at DoD. Many of those changes were suggested to the House Armed Services Committee just last Friday by William Hartung of the New America Foundation. He detailed his recommendations in written testimony to the committee, and talked to me about how his testimony and Secretary Gates’s changes line up.
