General Dynamics has let go of 112 employees at its Woodbridge, Virginia office. The Washington Examiner reports close to 1,000 DC-area defense contractors have already lost their jobs this year because of Defense budget cuts.
Lockheed Martin laid off 45 employees last month at its Alexandria office. General Dynamics Land Systems announced layoffs at the beginning of May.
