The FBI has awarded ManTech International Corp. a $77 million contract to provide support services for the bureau’s Criminal Justice Information Services Division.
The CJIS Division equips the law enforcement, national security and intelligence community with criminal justice information, while protecting civil liberties. The West Virginia-based tech company will maintain and enhance CJIS IT systems that help with this mission.
“We are proud to support the FBI’s mission critical, state-of-the-art identification and information technology systems,” said L. William Varner, president and chief operating officer of ManTech’s Mission, Cyber & Intelligence Solutions group, in a press release.
The deal has a six-month base period with four option years.
