On this edition of Columbia Technology Partners Ready to Prime, Allen Scott passes along some advice we’ve received from previous guests. One of those guests is Sharon Jones of DISA. In this segment, Sharon discusses what to expect when working with DISA. She also explains how past performance with DISA doesn’t ensure you winning an award, you don’t have to have any and may walk away a winner. Allen also spent some time with Debra Fine, author of “The Fine Art of Small Talk.” Debra explains why small talk is so important and how difficult it can be for engineers to break out of their shell. She passes along some tips to make business development a bit easier for the for those who may find small talk difficult.
