HERNDON, Va. (AP) _ ManTech International Corp. (MANT) on Wednesday reported second-quarter profit of $29.9 million.
The Herndon, Virginia-based company said it had profit of 74 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for amortization costs, were 84 cents per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 66 cents per share.
The defense contractor posted revenue of $632.5 million in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $568.3 million.
