Federal News Radio congratulates the winners of this year’s Causey Awards! This awards program was designed to call attention to the human capital management field within the federal government and industry. Today’s winner is Julia Ruffini, the Field Office Chief for the Defense Security Service. Julia and her team are in charge of contractors’ security clearances. A job that she has to get right 100 percent of the time. She told In Depth host Francis Rose and Senior Correspondent Mike Causey the pressures she faces.
