Federal Agencies Using CONNECT

CONNECT, a free software that unites private and public health organizations with the federal government, is proving to be a valuable tool in the world of health information technology. Several federal agencies like the DOD, the CDC, the SSA, the VA, the Indian Health Service, and the National Cancer Institute have used the software to share data with one another and with the private health sector. In February, the SSA used CONNECT to receive live patient data from MedVirginia through the Nationwide Health Information Network.
