This week on “Fed Access”, Evan Lesser, managing director and co-founder of ClearanceJobs.com,  joins host Derrick Dortch to give us an update on the clearance job market.

According to Lesser, the job market  has improved in recent months for workers with security clearances.  He says both the federal government and contractors are now actively looking for cleared workers, and that has resulted in higher salaries and, in some cases, signing bonuses for employees.

Lesser also give us an update on the National Background Investigations Bureau,  a new agency created this year to take over federal  background investigations.

Finally, Lesser will discuss recent changes to his website, including a new search engine that makes it easier for employers to find qualified candidates for job openings, and for workers to search for jobs in the cleared community.
