This week on “Fed Access”, Eric Katz, staff correspondent for Government Executive, joins host Derrick Dortch to discuss how the federal government will be impacted when President-elect Donald Trump is sworn into office in January.

Katz will talk about Trump’s views on federal spending and how government employees and unions are reacting to the election results.

He will also discuss the potential of a federal hiring freeze, a possible overhaul of the intelligence community, and whether some services will be privatized at the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Finally, Katz will talk about the prospects for Trump’s plan for term limits for members of Congress, and what the General Services Administration is doing to make the Presidential transition as seamless as possible.
