Agencies not tracking data center consolidation savings, report says

Just because your agency has made data consolidation a priority doesn’t mean it is happening or that there’s a way to measure success.

A new report from MeriTalk and NetApp shows that most agencies believe data center consolidation is necessary. But only one in four agencies have a way to track savings.

Mark Weber is the president of the U.S. public sector group of NetApp. He spoke to Federal News Radio about the report and why his organization got involved.
