The intelligence community spends a lot of effort in gleaning information from foreign language documents. For English-only speakers, figuring out a foreign document can be impossible. That’s why the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity launched an effort to develop special language processing software. Dr. Carl Rubino, an IARPA program manager, joined Federal Drive with Tom Temin to discuss details.
