For a department with detailed policy for just about everything, the Defense Department sometimes fails to back up its policies with oversight. That’s what the Government Accountability Office found when looking into how well DoD officials manage nearly three dozen major information systems. Carol Harris, director of information technology acquisition management issues at the GAO, joined Federal Drive with Tom Temin for more.
