For several months now, a small but vital piece of machinery in the nation’s intellectual property system has been undergoing an upgrade. The Copyright Office, part of the Library of Congress, recently stood up the Copyright Modernization Office. Its new Director Ricardo Farraj-Feijoo and Karyn Temple, acting director of the U.S. Copyrights Office, told Federal Drive with Tom Temin that the goal is to become a lean, nimble, results-oriented organization.
