The women veterans population is rising, and so too is the need for the Veterans Affairs Department to provide them with specialized care. The support group Disabled American Veterans has highlighted how VA could improve its care for women. Federal News Network’s Eric White spoke to DAV’s Legislative Director Joy Ilem about the organization’s latest report on Federal Drive with Tom Temin.
