How federal employees are saving money on this essential benefit

Federal employees are turning to a Delaware insurance company to save money on necessary safety nets.

With plans starting as low as 80 cents per day, the federal government can cut the already low price in half for qualified federal employees.

Fender said Starr Wright USA’s biggest concern is employing customer-friendly business practices to ensure that federal employees get the best possible coverage.

“Some providers are known to tack on additional fees to the cost of their policies,” Fender said. “Be on the lookout for costly fees, especially when the initial price is lower than normal.”

The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association, Federal Aviation Administration Managers Association and other associations receive a 10% discount on federal employee professional liability policies.
