A statement issued Friday by family attorney Ben Crump says the autopsy will “determine whether he was shot multiple times and if he was shot from the front or the back.”
A police officer shot and killed Emantic “EJ” Fitzgerald Bradford, Jr. while responding to a shooting at a crowded mall on Thanksgiving.
Police initially described Bradford as the mall gunman, but later said they were wrong.
The statement said the autopsy results will be released to the media after they become available to the Bradford family.

The 20-year-old man told a judge he’d voluntarily return to Alabama. Authorities there now have 15 business days to remove him from the Fulton County jail.
