Federal contracting might be lucrative, but not everyone has equal success. Each year Grant Thornton surveys the health of federal contractors and checks in on the relationship they have with government.

“This year, we were surprised to find out that relationships with the contracting officers seemed to be deteriorating,” said retired Vice Adm. Lou Crenshaw, the national aerospace and defense practice leader at Grant Thornton.

Crenshaw joined The Federal Drive with Tom Temin Friday to discuss the results of the survey.
