November 27, 2012 — This week on “Off the Shelf” Mark Day, director of the Office of Strategic Programs for the Integrated Technology Services, at the General Services Administration, provides his perspectives on the acquisition and management of information technology by the Federal Government.

Day also provides an update on GSA’s GWAC contracts, including Alliant and Alliant Small Business, as well as a new Smart Buy strategic sourcing initiative.

He also discusses progress in moving to the cloud, cloud brokerage and GSA’s role as an early adopter.
