An update on DHS’ bid to hire and promote more cybersecurity personnel

Congress gave the Department of Homeland Security the authority to create its own cybersecurity personnel system back in 2014. Six years later, the new cyber talent management system is live, and accepting applications. Travis Hoadley is the director of innovation for CTMS. And Erin Hayes is the CTMS director of operations. They tell Federal News Network’s Nicole Ogrysko, why it took so long to develop the system. You hear Bailey first.
