A Senate-inspired bill seeks to redo federal procurement

Keep an eye on a Senate bill to remake federal acquisition. It’s called the Agile Procurement Act and it has bipartisan sponsorship. Its stated purpose, among other things, is to make it easier for the government to buy commercial goods and services. Federal sales marketing consultant says the bill scratches an itch that comes up every 25 years or so. He spoke with Federal Drive host Tom Temin.
