CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Tyree Robinson returned an interception 42 yards for a score, JJ Jerman kicked a career-high four field goals, and East Tennessee State beat The Citadel 26-22 on Saturday for the program’s best six-game start since going 8-1 in 1996.

Robinson picked off Jordan Black’s pass on fourth-and-5 on the Bulldogs’ next drive and returned it for the score, sealing the win. It was Robinson’s second interception of the game and his third pick in his last two games.
Jerman also kicked field goals of 46, 40 and 31 yards.
Austin Henrink was 15 of 20 for 169 yards passing for ETSU (6-1, 4-0 Southern Conference), including a 12-yard scoring pass to Kobe Kelley.
