MOBILE, Ala. (AP) — Alex Caldwell scored 17 points and Ledarrius Brewer added 16 to lead Southeast Missouri State to a 77-71 victory over Jacksonville on Friday night in the South Alabama tournament.
The game was tied 62-62 with six minutes remaining. Southeast Missouri State pulled away with a 15-4 run and led 77-66 with 39 seconds to go. Brewer scored five points and Caldwell chipped in four during the stretch.
Caldwell and Brewer also made five of the Redhawks’ nine 3-pointers. Skyler Hogan had 14 points and Mark Laros chipped in 11 for Southeast Missouri State (2-2).
Jace Hogan scored 18 points on 9-of-19 shooting to lead Jacksonville. Tyreese Davis had 13 points and JD Notae added 11.
