Watch out for fake Adobe Flash updates

Cybersecurity Update – Tune in weekdays at 30 minutes past the hour for the latest cybersecurity news on The Federal Drive with Tom Temin and Amy Morris (6-10 a.m.) and DorobekInsider with Chris Dorobek (3-5 p.m.). company says it found a number of compromised sites that take visitors to a very official looking Adobe Flash update page. IT security experts say if you download the updates, it could infect your computer with malware. But there is a way to spot the fake pages. The malware only allows users to click the continue button and nothing else when the fake update page opens. Barracuda says you should only get updates directly from Adobe.

GovInfoSecurity reports that NIST says the web serves are a preferred way to architect and provide complex services.
