DHS and NSA join cybersecurity efforts

The Homeland Security and Defense Departments have agreed to play nice when it comes to cyber security. They have formally agreed to coordinate efforts, including exchanges of cyber security experts. A memorandum of agreement covers the people, technologies and buildings the two departments will share. DHS will establish a coordination director to work at the National Security Agency. The same person will be a liaison to DOD’s Cyber Command. And DOD will assign a senior NSA official to work closely with DHS.
