Ft. Hood shooting trial continues

The hearing in the Ft. Hood shootings wrapped up its first week. Ten soldiers who came under fire at the Texas Army post testified on Friday. Most of them identified Major Nidal Hasan as the gunman who shot dozens of soldiers and civilians at a medical processing center last November fifth. So far, 29 witnesses over three days have testified either via phone, in person, or by video link from Afghanistan, where they’re deployed. Hasan faces the death penalty if the case goes to trial. He’s been charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder.
