The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's annual EXCEL conference next week is a chance for both government and private industry to take a closer look at employment law. This year the conference is being held here in Washington, D.C., to mark the commission's 50th anniversary. Dexter Brooks is the associate director of the Office of Federal Operations at the EEOC.
