One of the most senior chief information officers in the government is retiring. Commerce Department CIO Rod Turk departed Thursday. He’s a 26-year Navy veteran and had stints at the Justice Department, the Transportation Security Administration in its early days, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Turk joined Federal Drive with Tom Temin in studio to recall precisely when he took on his latest job.
