Happy 20th anniversary of the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act (IRTPA) to all who celebrate! Despite being signed into law 20 years ago, many of the key provisions related to the security clearance process are still issues today, including:

Lack of reciprocity

Need for better technology/security clearance systems of record

Trust across IC agencies and government departments when it comes to investigation quality/transfer of trust
