The focus is resuming efforts to recover the remains of some of the estimated 5,500 U.S. service members unaccounted for from the 1950-53 Korean War. The Bush Administration stopped the recovery in 2005 because of concern about the safety of recovery teams in North Korea. No indication has been given yet as to how the security situation will be addressed.
