The 2025 National Defense Authorization Act has a provision that would bump it up to 20 days of leave.
The IRS told its inspector general that it is reviewing privacy disclosures from Free File partners to mitigate risks of exposing personal information.
"Now that we're in a new fiscal year 2025, we have again the dilemma of figuring out what our defense budget should be," Michael O'Hanlon said.
"Argonne has been DOE's trusted partner in building and executing workforce development programs for 35 years," Kristen Wahl said.
"This whole year we have seen a lot of volatility. And particularly because a change in administration could mean a change in tax law," Thiago Glieger said.
"The hearing is probably an individual's best opportunity to try to mitigate whatever the concerns the government has," attorney Ryan Nerney said.
OPM says employees who are adversely affected and seek to become emergency leave recipients must apply in writing to their agencies.
"The crux of the argument was about solicitation formatting requirements," Haynes Boone procurement attorney Zach Prince said.
