Data breaches caused by insiders are a growing concern, according to a new survey by Symantec.

Data breaches caused by insiders are a growing concern, according to a new survey by Symantec.

That report finds 46 percent of managers worry about unintentional breaches by their employees, while 44 percent are concerned about malicious insider breaches.

The 2011 State of Security Survey questioned 3,300 firms in 36 countries. However, despite the new worries about insider threats, outside hackers remain the top information security concern.
