If you’ve never heard of the Invoice Processing Platform, you’re probably not alone. It’s a system for handling electronic transactions with vendors. And now the Office of Management and Budget is developing new guidance that strongly encourages agencies to use it — and it alone. At the moment, your chief financial officer is commenting on the draft guidance. It’s all part of OMB’s more aggressive push to shared services in 2015.
