This month, the Army launched a new campaign designed to try and overcome a challenge across the military — helping a new generation of military veterans transition out of uniformed service and into the civilian workforce.
It all stems from a partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management, which conducted a nationwide survey of employers to identify misconceptions that prevent employers from hiring veterans.
Nancy Hammer serves as the senior government affairs policy counsel at SHRM, and she’s Jared Serbu’s guest for this week’s edition of On DoD.
