Security in Washington today maybe the highest it’s ever been. Authorities are estimating some 2 million people may gather shortly to witness the swearing in of President-Elect Barack Obama. Are they prepared? Law enforcement sources says more than 30 thousand police and law and military personnel will be on the job, maybe as many as 40,000. Teams capable of detecting weapons of mass destruction and special units for crowd control will be out and teams whose job is to do nothing more than look for anything unusual in the crowd.
