U.S and Georgia Sign Agreement

Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice have signed a Strategic Partnership agreement.

Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice have signed a Strategic Partnership agreement.It’s being refered to as “historic” and a “great achievement.” Vashadze warned that the Charter may cause an “acutely negative” reaction from Moscow. As a result of the agreement, Georgia will be a program of enhanced security cooperation intended to increase Georgian capabilities and to strengthen Georgia’s candidacy for NATO membership.”
