Just days after Kyrgystan decided to evict the US from Manas airbase, Russia has stepped forward saying it will grant transit rights to U.S. military supplies bound for Afghanistan. The U.S. was left with bleak alternatives for shipping supplies into Afghanistan, when the Kyrgyz government made the decision. The Russia door that Russia has opened indicates it’s now willing to cooperate with the U.S. in Afghanistan. But the question experts are wrestling with is will whether Russia will stick to the agreement?
