The Office of Management and Budget has announced the next step in shared services. Acting Deputy Director for Management Dave Mader called the administration's goals for the new Unified Shared Services Management Team "aggressive." Joe Ward of KPMG and former head of the Interior Business Center, one of the four federal shared services providers, told In Depth with Francis Rose why the management team will be important to the success of shared services across government.
