Keepers at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo in Washington, D.C., had a chance to weigh baby panda Bei Bei on Oct. 1. He now weighed in at 4.5 pounds (2,070 grams) — half a pound increase since he was weighed the previous week. Vets did a thorough check and took some body measurements. From Bei Bei’s head to the tip of his tail is 33 centimeters, just shy of 14 inches.
