This year’s tree came from the Chugach National Forest, traveling more than 4,000 miles before making its final journey to the Capitol’s West Lawn.
The lighting ceremony will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 5 p.m. on the West Front Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. The ceremony is free and open to the general public.
