This photo gives us a glimpse of the James Webb Space Telescope’s instrument module on a crane at NASA Goddard, about to be installed into the telescope. JWST has four science instruments that are contained within the black latticed structure. Together they are known as the Integrated Science Instrument Module, or ISIM.
