Part photo op, part unusual tradition, the President pardons a turkey every Thanksgiving.
For more than 100 years, the U.S. President and his family have received gifts of a Thanksgiving turkey, which, as part of tradition, the President has gone on to pardon or give a reprieve to. Wishbone, one of two turkeys set to be pardoned by President Donald Trump, is previewed by members of the press, Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017, at the White House briefing room in Washington.
