The Financial Management Service disperses over one billion dollars in payments to roughly a 100 million people each year. And some of those people are still using checks. Checks that are often lost, stolen or tampered with.

And that cost-saving innovation is why they are the winner of the American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory Council’s Excellence in Improving the Operations of Government award.
