More U.S. troops are going to Afghanistan by next summer, and the Pentagon is going to commit a sustained force there for several more years says Defense Secretary Robert Gates. Gates, who is visiting Afghanistan for the second time in the past four months, got a look at the the number one challenge facing him as he stays over to become a part of the Obama administration. He says 20,000 U.S. troops will be needed to fight the war in Afghanistan.
