Beginning at 9 a.m. EDT on Thursday, June 1, Federal News Network will need to power down our main transmitter on 1500 AM to allow our engineering team to conduct routine inspections of our transmission tower infrastructure. The 1500 AM signal will be off the air during that time, and we anticipate a return to normal operations late in the afternoon on Thursday.

In the meantime, listeners in the National Capital Region have several other ways to tune in:

— 104.5 FM, for listeners in western portions of the region

— 103.5 FM HD-2 or 107.7 FM HD-2, for listeners equipped with HD Radio

— Our livestream: Always available at federalnewsnetwork.com and in our iOS and Android mobile apps, which also work well via Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
