Causey on the likelihood of a federal furlough

WFED\'s Mike Causey responds to the introduction of a bill that mandates two weeks of furlough for federal employees.

Six months ago, the idea of putting feds on furlough seemed far fetched, but today they seem like a real possibility.

On Thursday, Rep. Mike Coffman (R-Colo.) introduced new legislation that would force feds not working on defense, health, homeland security or law enforcement to take a two week furlough.

Federal News Radio’s Mike Causey joined the DorobekINSIDER to offer his insights on the likelihood of such a proposal becoming reality.
