DoD Cyber Command fully operational

DoD\'s Cyber Command is now fully operational.

The Defense Department’s Cyber Command is now fully operational, according to the DoD website.

The command is responsible for defending DoD networks.

“Cyberspace is essential to our way of life and U.S. Cyber Command synchronizes our efforts in the defense of DoD networks,” Gen. Keith Alexander, Cyber Command commander, said on the website. “We also work closely with our interagency partners to assist them in accomplishing their critical missions.”
