President Ulysses S. Grant signed the law that made Yellowstone National Park America’s first national park on March 1, 1872. The park is known worldwide for its wildlife as well as its geothermal features, such as Old Faithful Geyser. In 2015, 4,097,710 visitors enjoyed the park, which is located in Wyoming and parts of Idaho and Montana.
