Citizenship these children’s Halloween treat

Thirty children from 19 countries are sworn in as U.S. citizens, during a special Halloween-themed ceremony Friday at the USCIS Washington District Office.

The 30 children, who were sworn in as U.S. citizens, came from Afghanistan, Austria, Bangladesh, Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Egypt, El Salvador, Germany, Ghana, India, Iraq, Libya, Mexico, Pakistan, Romania, South Korea, Sudan and Vietnam. (*USCIS photo*)

Thirty children from 19 countries are sworn in as U.S. citizens, during a special Halloween-themed ceremony at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ Washington District office. USCIS Director León Rodríguez presented the children with their Certificates of Citizenship after they said the oath of allegiance.
