NASA astronaut Kjell Lindgren got to throw out the first pitch before the April 26 Washington Nationals home game against the Philadelphia Phillies.
NASA astronaut Kjell Lindgren, holds one end of the finish line for the Presidents Race during the fourth inning of the April 26 Washington Nationals game against the Philadelphia Phillies at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. The Presidents were wearing space helmets and moonwalking to the finish line in honor of Lindgren’s visit. Lindgren spent 141 days aboard the International Space Station from July 2015 to December 2015 as part of Expeditions 44 and 45, and conducted two spacewalks during that time.
